If you want to protect your privacy and reduce how your data is shared, you can submit an opt-out request directly with CheckPeople. The process is usually straightforward, but it requires you to provide certain details to verify your identity. Follow the steps below to remove your information from CheckPeople's databases.
Go to the opt-out page: Visit Checkpeople's "Do Not Sell or Share my Personal Information" page.
Search for your record: Enter your first name, last name, city, and state. Complete the CAPTCHA and click "Search."
Remove your record: Find your listing and click the "Remove Record" button.
Confirm the request: Enter your first and last name, and an email address. Complete the CAPTCHA and click "Submit Request."
Finalize the request: Check your email for a verification link and click it to complete the opt-out.
